About us:
CMC was founded in 1987 in response to a demand from industry for both the academic & practical expertise of its founders from a leading London University in South Kensington. CMC has evolved to deliver field corrosion surveys, inspection strategies based on identifying likely corrosion site problems and carrying out risk assessment. With associates and a network of companies, CMC can deliver cost-effective pragmatic working solutions.
Our multidisciplinary team comprises the best for the provision of our services with the necessary mix of field experience and in-depth knowledge as necessary pre-requisites.
The Principals of CMC Ltd, through their knowledge of the requirements of each industrial application, are able to select the most suitable team for the job.
CMC is renowned for its in-depth investigation of corrosion failures and providing solutions therein. We conduct corrosion field surveys for all sectors delving into the causes of corrosion which are beyond the visual manifestation of the type of corrosion. We travel to the field for first hand collation of information which enables a quick resolution to the problem. We advise on the necessary remedial work be it redesign, material selection, inhibitor, biocide dosing or internal coating or external protection through coatings and cathodic protection.
During the 20 years of operation, CMC has maintained the excellent foundations which have been its hallmark. In addition to field work, we have retained our expertise in fundamental research which drives the development of software and experimental side of our operations and provides innovation for our clients.

Co-founder and coordinator of the MSc in Corrosion of Engineering Materials at Imperial College where she was a lecturer, lecturing on corrosion post-graduate courses there and at other UK and overseas Universities. Research in most aspects of corrosion: marine, concrete, inhibitors, high temperature.
